Overall: This game is awesome! I loved being able to play as all the characters in an Xmen game that is actually half decent for once. But, it's a renter. Simply because once you beat it, you beat it. You can't even go back to any level you just wanna replay and max your characters out. But definately a must rent. Can't wait for #2. Gameplay: Simple game to play yet still very fun. Being able to be all the characters and play 2 player was great. Nothing beats being able to play as the guys you used to read about in comics back in the day. The story was decent as well. Being able to upgrade the characters you wanted was cool to. So it wasn't just here they are, as good as they get from the beginning. Graphics: It looked great. Being able to smash through all the walls was fun and the characters looked good as well. I think the powers were done very well also to give the old Xmen a modern look still. Sound: It sounded pretty good to me. Just like the old tv show used to sound. So basically they added in all that needed to be there and all you would expect the game to have. Made it enjoyable not having a sound you thought would be there for sure.
Overall: The best X-men game to date. The combo of action and RPG has seemed to pay off in several games as of late and this comes along for the ride as well. A great mix of team and mutant building and customizing of each character...a great game to keep you going. Gameplay: The first time you do a combo with a teammate be it melee or mutant powers, you are hooked. Once you unleash you first ultimate attack against some Sentinals, it is great. The only gripe I have is that some mutants seem unbalanced compared to others...and you eventually can build a team that seems to really kick !&%$@#* with high enough levels. Graphics: A pretty good looking game, all characters done well and never get lost in backgrounds...some of the general baddies are kind of dull, but the colorful power executions and varied environments keep the screen full of action. Sound: The sounds of battle can be somewhat muted, but the team chatter and voice acting of the various mutants (I think actors returning from the cartoon TV show from FOX Saturday mornings...am I old, does anyone else remember them?!) are done well. The background noises are nice in some places and forgetable at best in others. Suggestions: A well done action RPG...a booming genre that seems to be getting the attention it deserves. The game is done well and almost feels like an episode or almost like a movie, but not quite.
Overall: Overall a really good game and the best ever xmen game. Worth getting for any fan of the Xmen. I can see playin this for a long time to come whenever there are people over and we all just wanna kill stuff. Gameplay: +++++
4 player co-op is cool. single player also. Characters are pretty well balanced. Lots of cool moves and tons of breakable objects. Good Story

Missions are extremely long and repetitive. Some parts of the mission you have to be a certain character so sometimes you have to run a mile backward so you can switch to the character who'll get you through to the next part. Sometimes Sentinals get stuck in walls and shoot at you but you can't hit them. Weight limits suck. Where's the block button?? maybe I'm just blind. Would've been nice if there were a "stay put" command for your computer controlled teammates. Graphics: Great graphix but not as good as if the game would've been if it were xbox exclusive. Captures the comic book style of the series. Camera is a little annoying at times. Environments look good. Sound: C'mon, the game has Jean-Luke himself, good 'ol Patrick Stewart voicin Prop X. Funny character dialogue when you let them idle for too long. Overall pretty good voice acting for the rest of the cast. Sound effects were pretty good. Music? I can't even remember it and I was just playing the game a couple hours ago so it could probably do with a better score. Is there music?? I won't subtract for the music just cus they got Patrick Stewart... they prob couldn't afford any music after that :O Suggestions: Shorter missions with more missions are better than a few super long pain in the butt missions. Kill the weight limitations- I hate it when rpg programmers make it freakin hard to make money. Where's the block button? Being limited to 10-15 health and mana also sux. Get the musical score from the x-men cartoon- duh duh duh duh daaa, da duh... yeah baby yeah!
Overall: The game ties in very well with the X-Men plot. I don't read the newer comics anymore but supposily the characters here are up to par with some of the newest characters introduced in the comics. The overall look and feel of the game is great and it's fun to play. However to call this game a RPG would have been similar in calling Hunter or Double Dragon as RPG's. Gameplay: This game is fun to play. The game advertises itself as 4 players but if you're looking for action similar to Hunter: The Reckoning or something, then you wouldn't like the surprise. The game allows UP TO 4 players which means for parts of the storyline and some missions where 4 players are not called upon, your friends may feel a bit left out watching you play. While I understnad this is a RPG, it would have been nice if we could have just loaded four characters and threw them into battle like Hunter. The conversations for the most part are only one direction anyway. Only after long conversations can you choose how to end the meeting with one of a few choices. Graphics: This game looks great! It's 720p and it supports widescreen HDTV's. The extra space helps especially with some of the awkward camera angles that the game chooses to display. Visually, everything looks amazing and the powers look great. Some of the cut scenes could use more work though. Sound: The voices and the battle sounds of this game is great. Xavier sounds like Patrick Stewart; I didn't pay attention to the rest of the mutants. No complaints here. Suggestions: Create an arcade mode where four mutants can just go at it in the War Room or fighting Sentinels. This may already be a part of the plot (I haven't played that far) but it sucks that you can't just buy the game, plot it in the [X] and instantly have your friends play with you from the beginning. The first couple of levels were slow enough that it'd be boring to watch... Not really sure what else to add; maybe add Live Aware into the next version. For a first time try, this is great.
