Overall: Overall this is a decent game to play with interesting combos but the look just kills it long term. A renter for me. Gameplay: Easy controls and decent combos. A basic fighting style arcade game, versus, training, etc. In game fights are neat and not the normal style fighter of today. It was pretty fun at times. Graphics: I kinda like the old school feel it has. It's like a KOF look brought to street fighter characters. But it does look too old school almost. It's a nice throw back but just doesn't do it for me in this day and age. Character looks and range of different characters is pretty good though. Sound: Sounds retro to. Crappy old sounds in a video game don't last. The sound alone makes this just a renter.
Overall: If you like old school fighting game with two fabulous compagnies CAPCOM and SNK, this one is for you. Boast over 20 characters to choose from, is just revive the old days for the console Xbox. Gameplay: Well, like any others series of this genre, choose a character and fight your way through the final stage. You can build enough CHI power to unleash some combos that take at least a 2/4 of the health of your opponent. Yes, you can win by a cheap as always, use the same trick so the ennemy can fight you back until times out. Graphics: Since it's 2D, there are nothign new about it. There are some shining effects and that's all about the graphics. Sound: Each stage has it's own soundtrack and each character has his own speech each time the round begins.
Overall: Overall this isn't the worst game ever but it isn't what it was hyped to be. The look and sounds are very outdated (but they wanted this) but as well the look is more real than any fighter of this style which makes it kind of cool. This game was a step in a different direction for the street fighter/SNK style game and I don't think it paid off. Not the best fighter but it was very unique and the gameplay and character designs brings it up. Gameplay: Gameplay is not too bad. If anything this game is purely based on its gameplay and was not looking to keep players through its sounds and graphics. The fighting techniques are not like the normal fighting games and has some neat aspects to it which adds to the games uniqeness. It can be pretty fun at times and the new characters added is good because it isn't the same old moves as always. Graphics: Visually not the best. I know they were trying to go back to more of a King of the Fighters look but it just doesn't work in this time. It is a unique look because the kind of upgraded the look but still it just isn't the best. The characters look pretty cool because they look more real than usual and the new characters ie. Zero add to the game but the super moves look very 90s like. Sound: Sounds are typical Capcom/SNK sound effects for fighters but again it sounds very out dated. The moves and old music during intro scenes doesn't add much to the game except to its old feeling.
