Overall: Black Arrow, the first some-what dissapointment for me to come from the Tom Clancy stable. No graphical improvement, one new weapon (they also took one out), and some sub-par maps are the story for this expansion to Rainbow Six 3.
Gameplay: I was dissapointed that they only added one new weapon.. which isn't very useful to boot. They took out a weapon just like it. The game is pretty much exactly the same as the first one, which isn't a bad thing.. but I was hoping for some better multiplayer maps.. what's there doesn't come close to the best available on Ranibow Six 3.
Graphics: The graphics are still Tom Clancy polished. They have always had top of the line graphics in these games.. and this doesn't change here. No improvement over the original though.
Sound: Perfect sound once again. I have never had any complaint from any Tom Clancy game when it comes to their sound.
Suggestions: Don't make essentially an expansion pack.. make a whole new game.

Overall: we all know rainbow6 3 as the game that popularised xbox live, the franchise gained a huge fan-base with its 1st xbox encounter... so it was inevitable that it would gain a sequel.
well, BLACK ARROW is that sequel, and does it live up to the original??

well, to start off BLACK ARROW is more of an add-on then a sequel...
it runs the same graphics engine seen on the previous game, but now that there are games like RIDDICK, and DOOM3 showing their visual splendour on xbox, BLACK ARROWS graphics seem out of date.
alas, graphics is not the thing that won R63 so many fans... it was it's solid, and addictive multiplayer that left fans begging for more, and fans will be more than pleased to find out that solid multiplayer has returned in BLACK ARROW.
Although black arrow is a good game, it is a bit intimidating for the inexperienced player, or as you say 'n00b' but i think it is clear that this sequel is aimed at current fans of the series... rather then to earn new ones.
although it is there, the single player game seems slightly shallow and uninspiring... but R6 is not about single player, it is about a clean, refined, fun and in-depth multiplayer experience.
and you will be glad to know that is what you get.
Gameplay: the game boasts extensive multiplayer modes that never seem to ware thin, single player and split screen also feature, but XBOXlive is where the fun is at!
you have to have your wits about you, and use tactics to your advantage, a large amount of skill and patience is required to excel as a top BLACK ARROW player.
and with the major fan-base that the game has, you can be sure that you will never be short of a friend to play.
Graphics: visually, BLACK ARROW is similar to R63.. but what was once an impressive graphics engine is now beginning to show its age.
environments often look very nice, and boast some nice lighting and effects, but it often looks gritty and murky, and there seems to be a general lack of detail on show.
for pixel pushers you should look elsewhere, but BLACK ARROWS gameplay is what makes it special.
Sound: environments could do with some more detail in the audio department, but guns, foot-steps and general audio effects seem detailed and refined.
overall in game sound is quite good, but no ground has been broken.
Suggestions: can i jump please?

Overall: Great game, i'm basing my review pretty much on the Live, cause that's the thing that i liked the most
Gameplay: Beautiful gameplay, pretty realistic, very fun to play, Im still playing this even thoug Halo2 is out.
Graphics: Eye candy, yeah, this game has good graphics, nothing Ninja Gaiden like, but still pretty good.
Sound: MMMMM, the sounds are nice, you are able to destinguish wich grenades were just thrown or what gun you're enemy is using just by listening to it.

Overall: your in a dark area with your headset on an m16 in your hand and your crew beside you. the hostiges are in the next room. you open the door and see the terrorists and a fire fight breaks out. thats preety much what you go through in this game. this game is really made for the multiplayer xbox live feature. you can make your own squad and keep you stats online and try to be the best.
Gameplay: the gameplay is great. the xbox live feature is very smooth. the buttons are similar to many shooters so every one can remember them.
Graphics: the graphics are not that realistic. your surroundings are not real looking at all. some thing look real like the explosions but not even your main character looks real.
Sound: the sound is great. if you shoot something it makes a noise. the voice through the headset when you are playing one player sound very good and realistic. your crew will sometimes whisper of even shout.
Suggestions: make the surroundings more realistic because every thing else is great.

Overall: The next installment to the Rainbow Six franchaise, this time on the Xbox. The first Rainbow Six 3 on the Xbox was all good but there were many glitches and action replay users which made the game harder to play. Ubisoft has come in and fixed the glitches, beefed up the grpahics a little, added some impressive new maps and gametypes, and given players the option of clans! To sum it up, this is worth the dollar.

Of course, all of the above is speaking in terms of LIVE gameplay. Offline, this game sucks, but its worth it if you have Xbox LIVE.
Gameplay: R63: BA's gameplay is pretty much the same as the original R63, but now there are the new gametypes.

Total Conquest has you and your team running around trying to hack satilites and hold them for a certain amount of time to win. There are always 3 in total, and if you have only 2 by the end of the round, your team wins automatically.

Retrieval is very similar to Capture the Flag. Two teams have spawn points that are at an equal distance from eachother and have to get a canister and place it in a deposit box by the opposing teams spawn point. While holding the canister, you can only use your secondary weapon.

Ubisoft has also added in a feature that prevents draws. Whichever team has the most people alive wins. If both teams have the same amount of people alive, then it goes onto whichever team has the most health. If both teams are also equal in terms of health, it goes to whoever won the previous round.

One of my few complaints about this game was the lack of new weapons. It had all the same weapons from the first game, but they added only ONE new weapon, being the Dragnuv sniper rifle. They also removed the M85A1 .50 Calibur Sniper Rifle for those wondering.

The maps in this game are also incredibly large, much bigger than those in the original. It takes some getting used to, but once you know the maps, you can own anybody. There are lots of hiding spots, and lots of routes throughout the maps now, but there isn't anything thats unbalanced. Both teams usually have the same advantage, but at times when playing Total Conquest, one team will have an advantage over the other.

Graphics: The graphics aren't very special. Not much of an update over the last, just most touches to maps here and there. Some maps have had walls added or walls removed, and the cars in Garage are now different colors.

The character models look the same as well, but Eddie Price seems to look a little different than in the previous game.

Gun models also haven't seemed to change, same detail as before, if not a tiny bit better. Fire from the muzzle doesn't look much different, but it looks quite realistic.

Grenades and Charge detonations look superb. Smoke follows and explosion, sparks fly at times, and people can go blind when a flash bang explodes in front of you.

The lighting seems to be alot better in this game. Alot of maps aren't as dark as before, while some are to set the perfect mood.
Sound: The sound in Black Arrow is probobly one of the best parts. If you have 5.1 Surround Sound, make full use of it because you can hear peoples footsteps around you, grenade explosions nearby, and bullets whizzing by your face.

The weapons sound fairly realistic and haven't seemed to change much from the original.
Suggestions: The game is great, and the new LIVE modes and stuff are great. Again, I wish there were more new weapons instead of the Dragnuv alone. Possibly some downloadable weapons would be great. If there's going to be a "Rainbow Six 4" or something, I would like to hope for Bump-mapped graphics, but as long as the game looks good and plays good, I'm happy.

Overall: I absouloutly loved this game!! The Xbox Live modes are undoubtably the best in any other Xbox Live compatible game. I stay up all night with this thing.
Gameplay: The fact that new game modes are offered (total conquest) (retrieval), the game is raised by far. My favorite game mode is still old-fashioned Team Survival.
Graphics: The graphics are nice, and muzzle flares look awesome, too. I really love ragdoll physics affects too.
Sound: I love to hear grenades sound different, such as when you throw it in a hallway it is much silent, and when thrown in the open it is allowed to be louder because it can travel farther.
Suggestions: Just keep it comin, Hopefully you will come up with more modes. (already enough)

Overall: Overall it's basically the same game. Spawn camping is possible in this one which is very disappointing. But, more game modes is good to see and the clan aspect with voice messaging is great.
Gameplay: Great new game modes. I don't just play survival mode like i used to. Still have some glitches to fix but they did improve a lot from the first RS3.
Graphics: Looks slightly better than the original. Nice environments and new uniforms was a nice touch. Now in some levels both teams blend in while it used to be onme team that stood out.
Sound: I think they improved the sound on this game a little bit which makes it better. But it's basically the same.

Overall: This game is so cool. It is very exciting and has a good plot. Unlike the first Rainbow Six 3 Game, this game has more action, and a better xbox live game play.
Gameplay: The gameplay like i said is better that Rainbow Six 3. The online play is better, and the maps are larger for multiplayer and system link!
Graphics: The graphics are basically the same as in Rainbow Six 3. The only thing that looks more realistic is the guns
Sound: The sound was nice, and if u have surround sound it makes it very nice. I especially enjoyed the sound effects compared to Rainbow Six 3. PS: They are a lot better!
Suggestions: Make new guns and make more options for the game. Ex: President game mode

Overall: anybody reading this that doesn't have Xbox Live is one crazy person, GO GET IT NOW! my favorite game mode would probobly be Team Conquest
Gameplay: ya like a lot of other people said it's too few levels but a crap-load of missions, and guess what? you can do multiplayer co-op now!!!! the missions go up to 4 player so get 3 other friends and play the game
Graphics: the visuals are good, but destroying stuff would be fun, like shooting a tree so that ur opponents get crushed
Sound: sounds are normal, the screams of people going on fire is normal, opening a door is normal, having Ubisoft create a awesome game is normal too
Suggestions: In missions or Xbox Live could you add a download where you can pick up medpacs/ammo in some spots? and it would be cool if you could destroy the enviroment around you

Overall: This has to be the best Xbox Live game so far! It has a wide variety of Xbox Live features like clans, tournements, dedicated servers, ability to kick people out, and remove voice. The game modes are great, especially when you play on live.
Gameplay: The Gameplay is fun, and great! There are plenty of missions, but not enough levels. Also when your in game there is no health packs, or ammo packs. So if you run out of ammo in all your weapons your dead. I appreiciate the added difficulty in this, but it does get tedious if you use up all of your main weapons ammo.
Graphics: Visually this game was great! All the guns look unique, and so do the characters. The maps are all nice and unique, but you always have a sertain path you must go (you can't wander off). I would like to see some environmental impact (so you can destroy trees, and such) because there is very little of this. Other than that the visuals were flawless.
Sound: The sound was pretty good. Alot of guns make there own sound, and the explosions are very realistic. But the 1 bad thing is that your squad members say the same thing over, and over again when you issue a command, which is kind of annoying. But the screams of your enemy as you light him on fire covers this flaw.
Suggestions: Add an update for more levels, and guns. ALso it would be nice if you could pickup healthpacs/ammo.

Overall: An amazing game, the best probably on Xbox Live. I had very high expectations of this game, since I loved RB63. And it absolutely met with my expectations.
Gameplay: It was very easy to control. I had many friends who could pick up the controls instantly. Better missions than the first game, but too little levels.
Graphics: Wow... This game looks very realistic. The levels are well designed and made. It met with the high expectations of all the Tom Clancy games.
Sound: Not much to say about this. The guns and the explosions sound good. I don't know why the tangos scream like crazy, but okay...

Overall: FPS with 3 non player characters for backup. Rescue hostages, kill terrorists, defuse bombs, etc etc. Rather addictive as these things go.
Gameplay: Smooth frame rate, easy to control but the lack of being able to jump does bug me... I mean I know the game wants to try and keep you on a linear route but sometimes, the barricades will be something like a low bench, or upturned couch... does this seriously stop an Elite swat team from progressing? "Ohoh... route blocked by an upturned couch!", "Roger that... seeking alternative route"... geez.... kinda sucks don't you think?
Graphics: Everything you'd expect from a high quality FPS... very smooth frame rate...hey, what else can I say... go look at the screenshots !&%$@#* it! :-)
Sound: Hmmm... from what I can hear it sounds rather good... good explosions and gun noise. Would like to turn it up loud but usually I only get to play it when the kids are in bed and I can't wear headphones as the wife gets peeved if I'm sitting playing happily on the Box unaware that the kids are crying in their bedrooms making my wife then get out of bed and kick my butt... anyway, I digress!
Suggestions: You want more realism? Don't let my path get blocked by stupid obstacles!

Overall: My favorite game period (well at least until Halo 2 comes out). It has some of the best graphics, frame rate, and sounds you could ask for.
Gameplay: I like the fact that you no longer just save a few hostages and defuse bombs on every mission. Doing the same thing gets really boring you know. Now you have to eliminate certain people, clear terrorist camps, and do demolition work along with the usual(which is not in every mission)
Graphics: It is like RS3 not alot of noticable improvements, but you really can't do improvements to something that is already in the top 5 best looking FPS.
Sound: It is really nice that when you fire your weapon it sounds like it would if you were at a shooting range firing it yourself, Not the BS you hear from James Bond's weak #$%@
Suggestions: In splitscreen multiplayer it would be nice to see your gun and put the m-82 50cal. back on it that was a real bummer. You might also think about putting the springfield m-21 rifle on it, I wouldn't be able to put it down if you added the m-21 and one more thing have a sight on the sniper rifles so you don't have to zoom in on a target
