"When we last romped through challenging, beautiful, lush areas with our favorite Prince in Sand of Time, one of last years marks of greatness, the experience was more than exciting and well worth the price of admission. Now fast forward to the sophomore effort of the next gen revival from the talented folks at Ubi Soft, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. Our Prince is back and ready to take us on an adventure of a lifetime; does this new and improved Prince dodge the “Sophomore” jinx?"

Overall: Well, i didn't play the first one but doen't matter since there are always a story about it. The mother of all platforms has returned with new stuffs added to make it better than ever.
Gameplay: The prince get aged, look more mature and cold-blooded, try avoid his destined death and the future by modifying what he can do. As you play, there are always a creature that hunt you from the start to finish make it like a little bit annoyed from time to time. With the free-form fighting system update for our prince, expected to have more combos and finishing moves to unleash on the ennemies. You have a main weapon which you can carry all the way until you find a new one that replace itself. There are secondary weapons that you can own when you kill a ennemy that are easily breakable. Something really funny is when you make a mistake, you can rewind (use Sand of Time) all the way when you are in safety which just lowered the difficulty a bit but this game is hard so don't depend too much on that.
Graphics: The graphics is so far better than the first one, every environment is looking crisp and detailed as ever.
Sound: The music is just like Splinter Cell, when there are ennemies, the music is just going on which make the game intense.
Suggestions: Prince of Persia 3 is in the works so my wish is just granted. :)

Overall: Overall this game was magnificent. I found all the new attacks and such just... All out awesome to see. I must say, however, I feel I enjoyed the first one a bit more. The clever story part of it appealed to me much more in its first game.
Gameplay: Of course tha gameplay rocked my socks like it did in the first one. I could land amongst a spat of enemies and toggle random buttons annihilating them with moves not even Ninja Gaiden could pull. (Ninja Gaiden is Shenmue dressed up..shhh) I sometimes found myself angered when I would try to pull a complicated maneuver or accomplish a puzzling obstacle and could not.. But its what makes the game challenging and fun.
Graphics: Now maybe this is just me, but the graphics even in some of the movie scenes I felt belonged to be seen on a Playstation 2 and I expect soooo much more out of Xbox.. They were nice, but they just werent Xbox material. =/
Sound: It wasnt anything to take and talk about above thes rest and certainly no soundtrack someone would care to purchase... But there are no complaints from me.
Suggestions: Keep it up! =)

Overall: Fantastic. An truly amazing platform/slash-em-up. If you though POP:SOT was good, wait until you see this.........
Gameplay: Its pretty much as you were, although the emphesis has now been placed more on fighting than puzzle solving, which i personally LOVE. The fighting physics of this game will NEVER get boring!
Graphics: Everything has been tweaked , almost to perfection. The prince himself has had a face-lift and i think he looks better than ever (but not in a gay way.....) , fantastic visuals.
Sound: Not only are the sound effects (beheading, swords swishing through the air, etc.) excellent , but the voice acting has significantly improved along with an excellent soundtrack, which seems to have more of an emphesis on rock. Excellent sound!.
Suggestions: Make another......now!!!

Overall: I rented PoP:WW and managed to finish it before I returned it. This isn't to say that it is too short to buy, there's still the online competitions and I know there are things I didn't unlock. The major flaw in this game is that Ubisoft forgot the the Prince is good at plateforming, not fighting. I ended up runnning through about an hour of the game because I was tired of fighting enemies over and over again. The open ended structure was interesting but I nearly gave up twice when I found out I had gone three areas backwards and had to now do those a second time to get to where I started.
Gameplay: The magor change form SoT to WW is that there is a large emphasis on fighting. This starts out fun, with the variety of weapons and cool moves but eventually it becomes a chore. The other new thing is backtracking. This time around, the Prince isn't on metaphoric rails, you get a map and you can go to any area that has been unlocked. It follows from this that the missions require going back through the same puzzles, which was cool at first and sometimes was neat seeing everything from a different percpective, but it was a bit too repetitive at times. The best use of this was right near the end where you get to travel behind walls and on planks right over the area you went to before.
Graphics: The prince looks a lot better this time around, less panzyish. The terrains have had a similar face lift, a bit darker but not too much. There was scenery that gave me that Wow! because of it's shear size but these moments were few and far between. What I'd like to know is why do all Persian architects put buttons high up walls?
Sound: Sound effects were decent, the music was....different then my styles. While I know that they were trying to make the game more & the music just sounded liek they were tryign to hard. The key with attidude is to do it while acting like you don't need to. The soundtrack made them sound desperate for a more main stream audience.
Suggestions: You need to either stop the enemies from respawning or have some indicator of if your going backwards.
