Take the Shot: A New World Record!
by MordeuxEveryday, gamers like yourself set out to dominate competitive matches, earn bragging rights, impress the ladies, and set new world records. Right? No? Not so much?
Well it just so happens that a group of gamers just like you attempted to raise the bar in setting a new Guinness World Record while playing a 5 player session of Horde Mode in Gears of War 2 on August 29th 2009. What records did they set? Who was threatened with a live-action teabag? Who got the ladies?
But first, who are these guys? They're a group of gamers dedicated to making their own stamp on social gaming in their own way. They are:

UPDATE: Analog Khaos completed their goal of setting a new Guinness World Record of gametime in a 3rd person shooter, by raising the bar to 24 hours and 15 minutes. Although short of their original goal of 30 hours, this is still a huge accomplishment for the community and a great fundraiser for Riley's Children's Hospital out of Indianapolis Indiana. Great work guys!! Can't wait to see what's in store for you in the coming months.
Word of advice: If you plan on trying something like this, I saw cold medicine, antacid tablets, band-aids, and countless cans of Mountain Dew on standby during this attempt. Nearly all of it was used. You've been warned! :)
