Welcome web-heads to a preview of Spiderman: Edge of Time.  Now following up on the amazing success of the Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions title, Beenox has decided to go above and beyond and develop their own dedicated storyline which is thankfully Marvel approved.  Some of the great qualities that we found in SD make their return and those aspects that didn't make the game stand out have been tweaked, edited, and adapted to make sure that EoT is the undisputed king of the Spidey games.  One of the nicest notions that I got to check out was the all-important camera.  It's hard to do a Spidey game and get the camera correct.  The factors that he can climb on any surface and swing, jump, and move at an accelerated pace means that a camera has to be able to keep up with Spidey.  This alone is a challenge that will keep developers up at night frustrated, but thankfully the people at Beenox have found the solution.

The plot of Spiderman: Edge of Time takes place simultaneously between the worlds of Amazing Spiderman and Spiderman 2099 and involves you playing both worlds in an effort to repair the damage done to the fabric of space and time.  The damage done does not only stop with the destruction of society and mankind but your own destruction as well.  Working simultaneously in alternate realities provides a great new innovation as you can see in real time how your actions alter the future and the past at the same time.

In Spiderman: Edge of Time, the graphics have received an overhaul and now provide a more mature feel for Spiderman as you can witness the damage you take in various tears and cuts in your suit and the battle damage you accumulate throughout the level.  The stages themselves look far more detailed and even the enemy character models look like they have been given a great face lift.  One thing is for sure that the graphics of Spiderman: Edge of Time look better than any other Spiderman game ever made.

One of the major factors of EoT is the combat and control style which has been improved upon thanks to an upgraded camera system.  Now your over-the-top web slinging combinations are even easier to perform against multiple emeries thanks to a tweaked and improved combat system that allows you to not only jump, swing, and smash your way through opponents, but traversing multiple walls and ceilings is now a breeze.

As we swing into the realm of superhero games, Spiderman:  Edge of Time delivers the premier Spiderman experience and sets the bar for superhero games to follow.  With improved camera controls and an enhanced gameplay experience, Spiderman:  Edge of Time will deliver one of the best superhero experiences you will ever find.  Stay tuned to Xbox Addict as we uncover more details behind the mask!  Look for more information in the interviews and podcast to follow on this amazing Spiderman game.
