STAFF REVIEW of Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee (Xbox)

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee Box art This game is without a doubt one of the most bizzare, yet fun experiences you will have on the XBox! If you enjoy fart and burp jokes, or just plain idiocy, you'll love this game! I don't think I have ever seen any more of a bizarre ending than either endings provided in this game!

The only problem one could find about this game would be if they disliked puzzle games (in which case, you shouldn't consider this game in the first place). This game is made to consistently trouble you. Some of the puzzles do get a little tedious, but in the end it is worth it.

The visuals on this game are terrific for a first generation game for the system. Now, with the newer games coming out, the visuals have already become downgraded. The camera can be a problem sometimes, but not too much as to hinder the gameplay completely.

The sound was perfect for me, all of the modukon speak fit perfectly with how you'd expect. When you are going through the game trying to get bad quarma, the things that are said change perfectly to fit what you are doing in the game!

Suggestions:
When the developers create a sequel to this game, they need to make less repetitious puzzles. As fun as it is to run through the puzzle once, it gets tedious running through it multiple times after dying over and over again just to complete the puzzle successfully.

Overall: 10.0 / 10
Gameplay: 8.0 / 10
Visuals: 8.0 / 10
Sound: 10.0 / 10
