How to Wear your Xbox Communicator?
Setting up Xbox Live is a breeze, but putting on the Xbox Communicator isn't always as obvious to gamers. Before you get your kit home and accidentally find your microphone in your nose, use this pictorial guide to make sure you get it right on your first try.

WRONG: Usually the first inclination is to put the headband over the top of your head, like a standard headset. This is incorrect.

WRONG: This might seem obvious, but you also don't want the headband resting on your nose.http://www.xbox.com/NR/rdonlyres/e4yhzwuexap7lxdeezmn5uwq6xrhadwofywieryj5ibjdq6urkzs54dctswpnwjeuupj2uchw4zgofvvvlp3p3sw2xf/ilm-eric-0005.jpghttp://www.xbox.com/NR/rdonlyres/e5djuj23kbft6sseyfxtmbggmbfhb3rhvp4oyyw7yoof2z2elud3giqbohcpuyo7wfoynqfwtmslinvsbfnybmviutg/ilm-leslie-0003.jpg
WRONG: While an interesting fashion statement, wrapping the Xbox Communicator around your neck is not only uncomfortable, you won't be able to hear anything if the earpiece isn't on your ear.http://www.xbox.com/NR/rdonlyres/erqgl7hznviv37nwplisf5szkhzywcelfx7jmdxsocc3huagkm4sgtfu3irupak3san74v3ssuwjqx7ygtxgozdgzoa/ilm-eric-0004.jp http://www.xbox.com/NR/rdonlyres/e6osfqxqreh2orye2ipvd45xyw3nrp3a3al37hbo6ty7gcvdwcvtls5ub2qi4lmf4kdugwa2xgi6gbxybogqfmragic/ilm-leslie-0002.jpg
CORRECT: Finally, we have the correct configuration. The headband should wrap around the back of your head, with the earpieces hooked lightly over each ear. The Xbox logo on the side of the headset should be upright, reading "Xbox," not "xobX." Position the microphone so it's in line with your mouth, and you're set! Now you'll be ready to trash talk with the best of them on Xbox Live this fall or maybe even fill a vacant spot singing in one of those boy bands.
How stupid do they think we are?
