THE GAME LIVE 2003 HOLIDAY VIDEOGAME TOUR BIGGEST EVER
“2003 Holiday Game Preview Tour” Debuts Unreleased Titles such as NFL STREET, Beyond Good & Evil™, SpyHunter® 2, The Lord of the Rings™, The Return of the King™ and Legacy of Kain: Defiance™
Video Game and PC touring events, today announced their “2003 Holiday Preview Tour.” The third annual Holiday presentation will reach over 25,000 gamers in some of the country’s largest mega malls throughout the US. The 12-stop tour begins on Friday, November 7th in San Diego, CA and runs through Sunday, December 7th in Charlotte, NC.
Young adults, families and gamers will play for the first time the holiday seasons most anticipated videogames previewing many unreleased games of this year’s hottest new titles. New titles on display include major releases from EA SPORTS™ NCAA™ March Madness 2004™, EA SPORTS BIG™ NFL STREET and EA GAMES™ Medal of Honor™, Rising Sun, UBISOFT’S Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time™ and Beyond Good & Evil™, as well as the entire new Tom Clancy’s line of games including Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon™: Jungle Storm™, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon™: Island Thunder™ and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® 3 will be exclusively featured on tour. Midway® will be previewing the highly anticipated SpyHunter® 2. Also, Eidos’ breakout titles Legacy of Kain: Defiance™ and Whiplash™ will be on the Tour. The U.S. Army will feature America’s Army: Special Forces (SFAS), the latest release of the hit America’s Army game series. Mythic Entertainment will be providing free demo discs of Dark Age of Camelot.
More than 20 titles will be featured on a state-of-the-art, 50-screen Game Live interactive ‘GamePort’ system from publishing partners Electronic Arts™, Midway, Eidos®, UBISOFT™, Mythic Entertainment™, and the U.S. Army. PC partners include ATI Radeon 9800, RIO MP3 and Alienware. The NYKO Air Flo EX is the Official Controller Partner of the Tour. G4®, the cable TV network dedicated to video games, has signed on again as the Official Broadcast Media Partner, and Game Informer Magazine re-signed as the tour’s Official Game Magazine Partner. RIO, the country’s top selling MP3 player, is the Official MP3 Partner of the Tour. Demos from RIO, Age of Camelot and G4 will be taking place at all events.
