I'm just curious...why? Because it hasn't been discussed yet :D So, for those who are getting an XBox 360, is it going to be vertical, horizontal, or are you "that guy" who has it upside down?

Me? I'm going horizontal simply because my entertainment stand/shelf limits me to that position.

Im going horizontal.

My friend had his Ps2 (ghastly machine) vertical and the disc kept falling out when he ejected it so i thought it was pretty stupid feature to have.

Vertical. I pee in a pile of clothes instead of using the bathroom.

I'm going to display my 360 the same way I display my women...horizontally.

I'm going to put mine Vertical because otherwise I would have to either stack it on top of my Xbox or my Xbox on top of it (Inot enough shelves). I have my DVD player sitting sideways next to my TV and I'm planning on putting it right on top of my DVD player.

Ya maximus I must agree with you my xbox360 is going to be horzontal as well because my entertainment stand has very limited shelf space. I did build it and I should of made more space.

Rofl, I can imagine putting it vertical resulting in what happened to the PSPs FLYING DISCS out of the tray!

I was going to just have it horizontal, but I think I might actually modify my entertainment center just to accomodate the vertical position.

Of course, then the disk drive could fail... I haven't heard if it uses a center catch like laptops, or if its like any ordinary tray drive in a PC.

I just saw this HP small cute computer at Futureshop today, and the DVD rrive had a little "claw" at the edge of the rim that held the disc... It was really effective!

On it's side.

More than anything, I'm scared of knocking it over myself. Small room, could easily smash the door into my tv/gaming unit and send it flying.

Most DVD/CD drives (if not all?) have small clips on the edges to hold the disc if mounted vertically.

Since I'll be playing it on my PC moniter, it'll sit verticle between my computer and desk. Well...that is until I get an HDTV.
