If any of you are subscribers, and have received this form letter, let us know. Interesting story, and I don't blame the company one bit.

I never scratched one dvd or cd yet... I honestly don't understand how people scratch the hell out of these things so easily... I rent games that is so scratched up, I can't even play them. In-Freakin-Sane! The people who rent them need to be held accountible :)

I keep every game/dvd I've ever owned in immaculate condition. You will never find a fingerprint on my discs, unless you just put it there checking ;)
Between 3 Xbox drives (launch Thompson, Samsung, new Thompson) and my 360, i've never experienced any form of scratching from that source.

only dumb people that move thier 360 around while its running scratch them. and they should be held accountable.

You know how people love pimping their rides with consoles? I wonder if this means that the XBox2 will never be big with that scene?

It's pretty hard to charge people when all they have to say is, "It was messed up when I got it."

Not to mention that one of the yachts I captained for a while had three Xbox's on it. Guess no XBox2's for that owner. Hell, if you can't move the console while the disc is spinning, I know of hundreds of yacht crews, owners, and guests that will be moving from XBox to PS3 because of this issue.
MS needs to fix this. The narrow-minded people who say that you aren't supposed to move things with CD's spinning are just blindly defending MS instead of using their brains and urging for a better product.
Especially when you consider the huge yachting community that will be dissapointed everytime someone wakes a marina and ruins a $60 disc.

Imagine all those poor folks who can't play xbox on while on yachts. It really brings tears to my eyes!
I hope MS gets off thier a$$ and start making these 360's sea worthy for Gods sake!

Especially when you consider the huge yachting community that will be dissapointed everytime someone wakes a marina and ruins a $60 disc.Do you hear this? It's the world's smallest violin playing for the yacht owners of the world...
Anyway, I seem to remember reports of the first Xbox having similar problems. It'll probably be fixed as production goes along. I'd assume so, anyway.

They should check the discs everytime they are returned... Maybe that would grow old, but it's an idea.

Is it still ok to use that joke? Didn't that go out with 'duh' in the late 80's?
