Recently everytime I put a game in my 360 it says please insert this cd into a xbox 360 console....it won't actually realise its a 360 game is a 360 and therefor won't boot until I reset...the second around everything works fine....My xbox worked fine yesterday and today it is just being a pain in my a$$!!!
Any ideas guys....

hm, strange glitch and solution.. you wouldn't think the date/time has anything to do with booting of discs..

it's obviously one of two things:
1. your date was set to a date before Xbox 360 launched, therefore making it impossible for the game to be in an Xbox 360!
or
2. your date was set to a future date after your warranty has expired and the game didn't work so you would go and buy a new Xbox 360
i cant see any other possibilities

my xbox 360 doesnt open right sometimes, i will hit the eject button but the drive doesnt come out, i have to always take the faceplate off and push the drive and then it will open.
any way to fix this?

Get an new Xbox 360 and send your "bad" one to me!
(You need to re-seat the faceplate)

There should soon be content you can download to prevent this from happening.

There isn't though.
Maybe you need a hotfix?

Mine did that.
Solution is to unplug it overnight. Then plug it back in. Worked for me

Solution for me was to keep on trying. It happened once and once only. It'll be fine.

Mine just did it today, recognised it as a dvd not a game. Let it cool down for a bit and then it worked fine. Is this anything to be concerned about, maybe taking it back or calling support? I really dont wanna waste $700 on a console that is faulty
