Are the rumors true?

I heard that when the xbox 360 first came out that there were many problems. I heard that you could not set the xbox 360 flat on the ground like a normal xbox, you have to have the 360 standing up like a PS2.


Are the rumors of the xbox 360 true? Because I just bought an xbox 360 over Ebay yesterday. I feel like a bastard though. The person I bought it from is more of an online retail store that only sells through ebay. They are called Worlds Best Deals. I bidded the first time. Lost. Saw that 2 more 360s were selling in 2 hours so I waited for those. Any way some guy bidded $256 for a 360 with a harddrive and all of the accesories. He was probably going to win. But I made a bastard move and in the last 30 seconds I bidded $280 for it. So this guy thought he was going to get a 360 for $276 including shipping but I bidded at the last minute.


So I got an xbox 360 with a hard drive for $100 off.

you can have it lay flat like a normal xbox but it wont get the same airflow. i havent had any problems with mine and i keep my standing up to save space. my friend has his laying down and he has had no problems either. so i dont think it really matters much.

mine is fine. Haven't had any problems and I frequently leave it on over night watching dvd's when I fall asleep.

if caddy is selling his box to anyone, its me.

just make sure to turn off your box if you are turning it up or laying it flat. it will scratch your disc. so as long as you make the change while the box is off, you shouldnt have any problems.
