i love this feature...
I used to hate playing Mech Assault sometimes becasue the people we retarded.
I usually don't use my mic because I don't really feel like having to justify shooting someone in Gears when they ***** at me for "cheesing" because I shotgunned them when they were running at me with a chainsaw.

yeah, this is an awesome feature. I find my self turning off the mic all the time because of one person, but if you could just mute that one person it would be so much better

I may actually want to play Halo 3 now. I was so tired of all the teen age next white rapper prodigies that would be in every game I played. I was also tired of all the preteen kids who would curse you on the mic because they learned a new curse word or two.

Anyway, it just pissed me off because of the instant bravery that an open microphone and anonymity conjures. People would say things that if you told me that in person, I would straight up break your jaw.

I was angry that I can't really talk or hear people talk in Rainbow Six Law Vegas. I'm used to it I kind of like it now. I don't know why I'm getting kicked from a game, but I guess nobody would tell me anyway.

So, Halo 3 will have an A-hole button. I might like the game after all.

Yo you straight up trippin G....

Your getting kicked because you probably don't suck at it.
They give the host too much power over who's playing sometimes. I mean theres guy out there that always setup games just so they can pick absolute losers to play against so they can pad their stats.

Can't you just go to their profile and mute them?

That's what pregame lobbies are made for, so you can listen to the people and find out who has the high pitched voice or who's just plain retarded, so you can mute away!

A lot of the time now the big time **** heads don't start talking smack until they're in the game. I remember one time there was a player that sounded normal and didn't come off like an ass, but as soon as we started playing the dumbass started dropping "n" bombs at everyone. The only part that was funny is rather than booting him we just all hunted him down.

Would be cool if age had some part to play in matchmaking.

You know thats a really cool idea. The only problem is kids would lie so they could play with adults. The adult ranks would have to change too, I think after about age 25 the gamer skills are on the way down :D

One of the last games I played was in the Casino Vault in a team sharpshooter. Twenty minutes, I racked up 33 kills, 21 deaths using just the 870MCS. I even got the 10 kills in a row achievement medal in that game. It wasn't a ranked game though, but I was the highest contributer of kills and on the winning team. All I did was stayed near the vault door and killed the idiots that rushed the main vault room. Occasionally I rushed the office spawn going from doorway to the coke machine blasting them as they came around the corner.

I got kicked from the game.

Man that pisses me off. I'm not always the best, but I really can't stand getting kicked for no good reason. Sure, one game I blew up 2 guys on my team with a incendiary grenade and I got kicked. That I understand. It was their fault, you don't run past the guy throwing the grenade, but whatever. I can't talk to anybody so it's not like they knew.

Anyway, the A-hole button sounds like a much faster means of shutting up the insolent fools. Much faster than pulling up the gamer card and finding the guy you you're playing with. At least I gather with this, you press the back button and the icon light ups on the list as they speak. Find it and shut them up.

I may like this game after all.

Time to turn the way back machine here, but I got banned of the Original UT for a while when it came out. I always played CTF and I was always the base defence because I was a good sniper. They thought I was using a cheat program to auto aim all the time and I'd get booted. It was retarded, they booted me because I was good at the team oriented role I was assigned. I don't have that prob anymore because I suck pretty bad, mind you I did get kicked out of a DOA 4 lobby once because I wasted some D ranked loser 3 or 4 times in a row.
