Lame, since It needs to be good to fly on the 360, since Im not going pay 600 bucks for a lil tilty controller

I hope the graphics actually look comparable to other next gen games instead of a piece of ****.

I also hope its not all ghetto gangster, since thats the main reason I wasnt a fan on San Andreas, all cursing and ghettoish stuff. We need Grand Theft Auto - Housewife Meth Lab

But I really hope they go back to Liberty City... I don't need a Game map the size of the US.. Just one completely living breathing city where every door opens and not to an empty building. I want to be able to pick a daily newspaper and read of my wrong doings, hell I want to be able to go back to my house at 11:00 and watch the Liberty City news on TV... What ever games I've purchased on XLA I should be able to play on my GTA gamesystem. ...etc.

Thanks Dude!, as you can see I have some pretty big expectations for IV. I felt guilty for liking Saints Row so much, but even though I liked it I hope the next installment of GTA squashes it. :-)

well it goes like this, vice city stories was the prelude to the original vice city, vice city was the prelude to SA, SA was the prelude to LCS, LCS was the prelude to GTA3

as for where the 4 came from: GTA1, GTA Directors cut, GTA2, GTA3, VC, SA, LCS, VCS, GTA4 (correct me if im wrong)

I think it's called GTA4 because they are going back to Liberty City instead of another offshoot...

I'm really glad to see it look like a real city. Looks like actually in-game footage and it looks pretty good when it still has many months before its released. I just wonder how big the game will be, the trailer doesn't show the size of the city.

I think the only way to breathe new life into GTA is it to be innovative
in its gameplay, at least get a decent combat system , as far as how big it is I hope its more than just a nyc Clone , or if it is nyc its ALL of NYC (liberty city)

or include philly, and chigago,

The Trailer doesn't really give you much of an idea of what the actual gameplay will be like, but it does look like a better story then the last few. In my opinion the best GTA was GTA London. That **** was a blast.

edit: I suppose I havn't played it since I was like 10 though.

It may be bigger than first thought, as there is a billboard in the trailer that says "Visit Vice City for $300." What do you guys think? That would be awesome if it turned out to where you could visit all the cities, now that would bring new life to the series. Still a must buy for me either way.

Oh yeah... A definate must buy. It should be worth the money for at least a few weeks I think. Even if it isn't a great improvement, it is always fun to just destroy everything.

i saw the new issue of Game Informer, it is not NYC, It's LC but Very different, There will be multplayer but not massively, but it will go along with the story, unlike san andras
ur playing as a russian or a german or any other East european type person, his name is Niko Bellic. from what GI is saying, they played a demo verson of GTA4 of him going to a parked car that was locked and smashed the window to get in. There will be no flyable airplanes(didn't say anything about helicopters or riding one ) but the ONLY loading times u will see is when the game starts up after the xbox360 or ps3 screen THATS IT!, and other stuff i can't remember

i can tell that thats not all the features of this game, more will probably come in the comeing months
