well, instead of 100 layers like in forza 1 you get like 1000 in forza 2. the custom paintjobs are the only thing to me that give this game anything, and it isnt enough for me warrant it a purchase.

but i might rent it just to fool with the paintjobs

I am still improving this beast. Here are my last pics of it. Since then I added riveted pieces of metal over one fender and added more dirt/rust. It still needs some work and I need to take some better pics but until there, here is my level 5 American Muscle car laying some rubber....

By the way, your links do not work. The forza.net site does not allow you to link pics. You need to save them to your favorite photo host site and link from there.

BTW i still don't see how you guys do some of those designs. I haven't gotten to much into the decals etc.. I mostly like the sleak race look of paint jobs. Low to the ground,racing stripes, black rims with big tires etc etc

I'm not nearly as creative as most these people doing these awesome cars... but I'm trying.. and of course I picked South Park.. 1.) it's the best show 2.) it's fairly simple to do...

Upload to the forza site.... go sign into the forza site to see your pics.... right click -> save as.... after saving them to your computer upload them to a site like photobucket or whatever and then post them here like you do any other pics...

And no there are no preset images.. you have to maniuplate shapes to make all these amazing designs you see.

Sure, you technically could. BUT.. it would take you hours upon hours and they are banning people who share "offensive" content online in the aution houses or races, so be
careful.

You would be better off just making something really cool that doesn't take eons, but if naked cartoon ladies are your thing..go for it. :) ;)

It really is amazing some of the things people have been able to create using the set of shapes and layers provided.

I didn't make it, I found it here (http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/246706.aspx). But you just use different shapes in the editor, its pretty hard to do something with this much detail but I just see cars getting more detailed as more people get experience using the editor. I saw a Halo 3 one the other day and it was even more detailed than this one. I would presume it would take a few days to make cars like those.

I just got started making a car. This is that stock Lexus 300 you get in the beginning of your career. So far now it's a Class A - 558HP - 208MPH car.

As you can see the logo isnt perfect, but it took me about an hour and a half to get it to the point I was at least satisfied. But remember, it was my first time too, so alot of trial and error. I am sure the better artists could whip that logo up in less than an hour and make it look much better too,

Cool work guys. I was away for the past week on vacation and today on my 9 hour drive home I actually thought of a trick for designing on the hood.

For anybody that has tried to design close to the front of the hood, you know the tool bar always seems to get in the way.

The next time I do a hood design, I plan on drawing a rectangle that is the basic size and shape of the hood. I will then move the rectangle to the roof of the car and design my art there. Once the art is done I will group all of the shapes and move it down to the hood.

I sold my Lexus. I wanted to Gift it to one of you but I really needed the money from it. I just got tired of dumping money into it to only get a limited result. Sure it was an A class car and it had 500+ horsepower, but I just got tired of it.

So my new money maker is that Tommy whatever Nissan Skyline. I've got it maxed out, it's a "U" class car now with just short of 1000 horsepower. I slapped bigger rims on it and that's just about all you can do with it. It's a shame that you can't repaint some of the "Gift" cars.

Anyway.. until I decide to work up a new car, heres the Skyline.

The parts for this car are expensive. But they're worth it. If you have this car I recommend maxing it out. 990 horsepower and you can easily coax out 220 MPH out this car. There isn't a lot standing in your way in this thing.

But of course, you'll dump tens of thousands into the car to get that. Hell the twin turbo and the engine rebuild probably cost 35 grand together.

But, I started racing with the AI settings on Hard, manual shifter, no traction control, no stability control and no ABS. Also no brake lines or acceleration lines. That's worth 50 percent more in earnings.
In the semi-pro Nissan racing league, it's three short races and you can get 10 grand per race. I just keep racing and winning and I have the money and levels in no time.

Of course it's much harder and your car becomes a brick on wheels. When you take ABS and stability off, things like suspension and brake adjustments actually come into play.

But, I got the Natural achievement and the Hardcore achievement out of it.
