Xbox 360 Hd Memory Please Help.

ok here's my dilemma....i baught a used 360 from a good friend of mine a few months back. Great cond. Gave me the dvd remote and wireless chargers and ****, cuz he baught the elite and had no use for the old 360 cuz his bro also owns his own 360. And recently its been saying i have insuff. memory. Right now I have 9GB left and i obvs. have some used up memory, but shouldnt it take a hell of a lot more to fill up the 360. How much memory is in the premium package HD...its not a core system. ... someone tell me some good news.

System blade > Memory > Hard Drive, press Y for option and reformat it. Voila, fresh Drive.

Or just delete individual files he has on there like old saves and videos he's downloaded.

Actually it only gives you 12GB, it uses the other 8GB for the system.

you get 113 on the elite, not 120 sysyem also takes 7.

Does the 360 OS work on a variant of the Windows 2000 kernel or is it the Vista kernel? I was curious, especially when I realized that Vista takes 9 gigs on my hard drive for a full install just like how it takes 9 gigs for the 360 on the hard drive.
