MX vs ATV: Untamed First Screens

So I was looking over on MotoTalk and found that RBW_Triton (works for Rainbow Studios) posted some pics of him playing the new MX vs ATV. The graphics to me don't look too amazing but they do look a lot better than on Unleashed, and I'm sure they'll look great when the game ships. The rider movements do look to be much improved from what I can see in the screens and now you are supposed to be able to "scrub" jumps to stay low!!!!

The game should be out early 08 and will be pushed back a few times, they always do with this game. They have had over 2 years to make this one though, so we'll see.

The riders look pretty good, but, the landscape looks wretched! I hope they improve it...I mean, it's going to be 2008!

Lol, well yea thats because nobody ever actually plays the game with quads. At least none of the major fans of the game do. Honestly I think they put quads in there just to appeal to more people instead of just the motocross community. Also, RBW_Triton is a motocross guy so The quads that they have in the game are good, Rainbow did make ATV Off Road Fury 1 and 2 (anything after that is crap and made by Climax) which are VERY fun games. What would be nice is to have Hockey in this game. Nothing is more fun than playing 4 player hockey with a big puck you push around with a quad. Other than that most people are all about the bikes........I'll post here in a lil bit what I mean by "scrub" after photobucket quits being gay.

I really really hope that they put in Free Ride and Freestyle again. Unless it is in there I never saw it. I am still playing MX Unleashed because of the free ride and freestyle because you can ride as long as you want. I got my 2 and 4 year old nephews into games because both them and their dad are huge motocross fanatics. Also, I'm glad they have ATVs again, I love riding them (in real life) but not as much as dirt bikes.

I have to admit as well. The terrain looks HORRIBLE!!! Hopefully its just that way for testing purposes. I mean come on, the terrain is flat yet has rutts drawn into it? If thats the way this game will be at release, I'll pass.Get with the program developers. Take a page out of Sega's Rally Revo destructable terrain book.

that game is going to be fun
they all have been
never top level with technology but that does not affect the game to much
it is good 360 finally has a mx game coming out
