Is anyone pumped for the orange box?

especially portal? Am I the only one really looking forward to this? (i havent played episode 1 or 2, plus theres always team fortress and portal).

I cant wait to wrap my mind around those 4th dimensional puzzles.

I'm definitely interested in it...I mean, what an amazing bundle all in one. It just depends on what I'm playing when it comes out and how committed I am to a particular game. I'll likely be playing Halo 3 for a long time...It feels like I have barely even played it. I beat the Campaign on Legendary, got all of the skulls, and played about 100 games on-line. It feels like I have barely even put a dent into it!

Anyway, I'm definitely eager to check out the Orange Box, though.

although portal is about 2 hours long, they said it's really funny, and that the last 4 puzzles are real brain pickers. Welp, i hope they have some good dl content for portal, cause that was the big seller for. Ep. two (5 hours long) is supposed to b better than half life 2 and ep. 1.....

I played Portal at a friend's house last night and we beat the game in like 3 hours. I played one match of TF2 and it seemed pretty dumb, but I'd say it's worth a rent just because of Portal.

I wasn't much of a TF2 fan when played it either. It had some lag issues and overall I just didn't enjoy it very much. The whole thing is worth it for me though because I've never played any of the Half-Life games.

the boss fight, and the credits song (trying to find it, but having trouble, pm me if you know where to look) are so awesome. im in love withthe portal universe (even though its in the half life universe). Aperture science, the AI, the portals, and of course, the whole "cake" thing.....effing brilliant.


I remember one line from the end that just had me laughing so hard.

Portal gets a 9 in my opinion. Great game overall some glitches.. The boss fight was sick as hell.. especially the snarling red eye.. I held onto that for a minute or so cuz it was funny as hell to watch.. great ending and cool replay value. timed games and activities.

Simply put, it's different. TF2 is a nice change from Halo, as the gameplay is completely different (classes, no nades, and no radar!). Portal is one of the best puzzle games ever made, and HL2 is a great single player experience much like Bioshock was.

I'm taking a break from Halo 3 to play through the Orange Box campaigns. I'm not too into Team Fortress but I absolutely LOVE the Half-Life Series. It's incredible and definitely worth your money. I'm still on the first game - Half-Life 2. Too bad I haven't had much time to play my 360 at all lately. :(

Anyway, it's my 2nd favorite 360 game for sure, Halo 3 being my first because of the multiplayer and etc. If you haven't played any Half-Life games you should definitely pick this up when you have some spare cash. So far, I'm getting about the same amount of enjoyment from the first Half-Life 2 in the pack as I did in Halo 3's campaign. I haven't even started on the next two in the series.

Oh and Portal was insanely awesome. I kind of regret getting the 360 version. There are all kinds of cool Portal mods that are bound to come out for the PC. There's already a mod that integrates the Portal gun into the campaign of Half-Life 2.

PS. Beat Episode 1 today... wow, REALLY short and not as gripping as HL2 was. I woulda been pissed with the ending if I had to wait as long as people have for this. Here's to hoping Ep2 will make up for it.
