Xbox Live is turning five years old and to commemorate this momentous occasion in console gaming history, Microsoft sent a Beautiful Orange Xbox 360 controller for us to enjoy. Thank you Xbox team!!!

I'm sure it was a perk sent out to Microsoft MVP's. I do like the glossy shine to the controller though.

Not sure whom all received these, but us MVP's were lucky enough to get one. It is very pretty in the glossy finish.

SpaceGhost2K said he's going to try and make a faceplate to match, should be awesome.

I am willing to bet they wont be in retail just like the Orange memory card, carrying case and tshirt that beta testers received for participating way back in 2002.

Rumor has it that Original beta Testers that have kept their accounts active since day 1 might be receiving an orange controller as well. The catch is, you cannot have cancelled and restarted the account, it must be the original account. Of course you could have changed gamertag via the 360 for 800 MSP, but thats the only way you can have a different gamertag.

Not only do you get to test the **** out and play before anyone else, but you also get cool **** for it.

It seems like double rewards for those who are "in", and double "**** you" to those who have no connections.

The controller looks good. I just wish MS would make a green Halo 3 controller like the one they bundle with the console. They are selling for up to $120 on eBay.
