It was December 8, 2007. I was just finishing up my raping of some fools in COD4. I was glowing with glee as I watched my kill total hit the 30's. Gun smoke filled my screen, I could hear the cries of the fallen in the streets. I would be victorious. The game ended. We won. I walked away to go get a drink to celebrate a battle well fought. Upon my return, something felt wrong. I looked at my reason for waking up and it was flashing red. That God-awful color that signifies the end of my gaming world. My 360 had lost it's life. I tried to revive her but to no avail. She was pronounced dead at 5:20 p.m. I don't know how I can go on.........................................

Do you mean December 8, 2007. I am sorry to hear this if it's true. I know how it feels I have had two dead ladies in the past but with time you should be alright.

Yeah 07 and yes it's true. I hope I can get another one that looks just like her. What's the warranty deal?

Three years from purchase date on RRoD. You'll be gaming again in no time. What is your manufacture date? What version of 360 do you have?

Sorry to hear of your loss matt. I know the feeling as well since I have been through 5 of them! My elite has been doing weel though, knock on wood! Its pretty much inevitable for all 360's manufactured before September 07. Even the ones that swear to never have had a problem since launch day will soon experience the problem too.

Hopefully you have a quick turn around on the "repair".

When my first 360 RRoD I missed a day of work I was so upset and I just got hammered. Drank my face off. Luckily Walmart exchanged it for me since I was only 4 days over their 90 day return policy.

It's lousy when it happens.

That happened to me i know how it is so after three hours of cursing and punching the wall ... call xbox and arrange the pick up ... its faster now youll have it back like in two weeks till then ... do u own a wi.. ? or maybe a lil excersize ... u know meet a girl have a two week relationship... then dump her ass...

I'm just waiting for mine to take a crap on me. The dvd drive makes some nasty noises when spinning the discs. My luck it'll die nest week when MX vs ATV comes out :confused:

And second of all, I am sending her off to her final destination as soon as the coffin gets here. Nothing special, just a little cardboard box and then she'll be off on her final ride. Oh well, I guess I'll go get with my other beyatch downstairs!!

Mine died early this year.. 4week wait time too. Hopefully this one runs for a while.

It still sounds like a Mack Truck going through my living room when a game is
