I recently bought a falcon; which was confirmed by looking inside through the grating with a flashlight.
However, I want to make it easier for anyone else that is looking for a Falcon. Don't look at the box, look at your power brick on the bottom side it will tell you the "actual" DC output.
When I checked the power brick on my 360 -- rather than the box(many times the box still says 203W. You MUST check the power brick.) -- 175W was confirmed.
So the only clues that you may have of getting a falcon -- when looking at the box in the store -- is by looking for a Lot number higher than #739 I believe. Mine was "749" and the team number is "CSON." Try to find one with a number higher than the aforementioned number.
Another way to tell is look at the build date, once you buy it , on the back of the console. Mine was built December 2007. I hope this helps the members of this community. :cool:
