I have been going to my local Best Buys since the beginning of December to try to replace my launch console. (Used the Best Buy replacement warranty)

They haven't had any Elites for 3 months.

Anyone know what the deal is?

It's out here and pretty much everywhere right now. Xmas had a HUGE demand for them and it wasnt predicted accordingly. They'll start flowing back in, just not sure when.

I saw one at Walmart over the weekend, but honestly thats the only one I have seen since the holidays. As Variation said, they probably just have to replenish the stock and demand from the holiday season.

It's not only the elites. Many stores are out of XBox 360 consoles period.

Get the Playstation 3 they have plenty of those sitting around collecting dust.

I have to get it at Best Buy. I had the replacement warranty and now I have a gift card full of money.

The only good news with this is, hopefully, this means that I will be getting an Elite with the latest hardware (Falcon, fans, DVD drive)

Hope to see them this week.

I always see at least 2 elite versions in the walmart near me, but maybe since i live near a retirement community not a lot of people have 360s

After 3 months of no stock at all, the Best Buy in my area have finally received the Elites.
