Ok... so we all know that Unreal Tournament ships with a faceplate if you preorder it. We also can be fairly certain that Gears of War 2 will have multiple faceplates including possible an E3 version. My question is what upcoming game would you most like to have an official faceplate created for?
Civilization Revolution does not count either :bang:

I'll start....

Either Fable 2, Fallout 3, Bioshock 2, or Project Origin (We need a creepy official faceplate)

Some other that could be interesting are Star Wars Force Unleashed, GTA IV, Aliens, Terminator, James Bond

Or even the much sought after Feeding Frenzy 2 ;)

gears 2 and thats it for me the others would never do it, it cost alot of money to make them and the people at epic know gears faceplates sell so i am 100% sure they will make them but i am very doubt full that any other games will

Well I'm not saying that it has to be a common one to find at retail. A preorder bonus or limited edition would count too... like the bioshock 5100 or the civilization revolution 2000. If they can make a big daddy figurine and not lose a lot of money they can make a faceplate. Though I do admit... I did not pay any extra shipping for Gamestop to send me Universe at War and they had to use a much bigger box because of the faceplate. That had to be extra shipping and set them back a little more than usual.

The bigger the game, the less likely you'll see a "freebie" faceplate because they can sell them. That goes for almost all first-party games. Halo 3, Forza 2, Viva Pinata, Gears of War, Mass Effect. Those mega-titles get a retail plate, and the super-mega titles get multiple plates.

I think we'll see official retail plates for Gears of War 2, Ninja Gaiden II, Fable 2. Banjo-Kazooie, Halo-Wars, Iron Man, Resident Evil 5. If I was in charge of marketing, for sure I'd do a retail GTA IV plate.

Now as far as free-with-preorder plates go, here's games I would recommend:
Fallout 3
Bioshock 2 for sure, but that's not even this year, is it?
Too Human
Alan Wake
Splinter Cell-Conviction (Ubisoft/Tom Clancy are pro-faceplate obviously)
Last Remnant
Tom Clancy's EndWar
Warhammer: Battle March
Huxley
Mercenaries 2: World In Flames
Prototype
Ghostbusters
Soul Calibur IV - Namco has been a big supporter of faceplates
Silent Hill V
LEGO Indiana Jones and LEGO Batman (although a little mini-LEGO guy would be a better freebie from a marketing point of view - especially if it was an exclusive figure)
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
Operation Darkness
Saints Row 2.
Star Wars: Force Unleashed (Same as LEGOS. They gave a figure away with Battlefront. They should give away a CLOSED BOX figure of Vader's Apprentice - although I don't know if it's YOU and you can customize him, you can't hardly make a figure of THAT.)

...and ClannAD (haters: bite me, chew and swallow. Gulp. That's you.)

Yes, ClannAD is a Japanese dating sim. Bring it.

Here's some opportunities I think they seriously missed:
Guitar Hero: Van Halen styled plate. They'd have sold a million of them.
Rock Band. Vertical plate that looks like a stack of speakers.
Call of Duty 4 and Devil May Cry 4 should have been retail plates in the US, and Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 should have been free with preorder in the US.
Beautiful Katamari. Namco really dropped the ball on this one. Pun intended.
Bioshock should have been available at retail, and the UK Bioshock should have been free with preorders in the US.
SKATE should have had a faceplate. That plate by messymedia is sick. Easily the best plate he's done, by a country mile.
Burnoug Paradise should have had a plate.

"Abandon ship! She's goin' down! Swab the poop deck! (And all that implies)."

I was saying that you'd be hating on the low brow humor and Japanese dating sim - not on Spacey! Nobody hates Spacey! :D
And about that Lego Halo...

As many of our loyal tipsters (as well as one of our sister sites) didn't realize, this exclusive preview ran in the April edition of EGM -- the same edition which is infamous for its history of April Fools' skullduggery.
Happy early April Fools day. This will only be the first of many (http://www.xboxaddict.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84039) I'm sure...

I've been pimpin' Lego Halo to everybody I get the chance to. I pimped it to the Microsoft people in Irvine and the MS people on the product team in Seattle. I have a contact at Bungie now too, so I"ll be givin' him an earfull. I've pushed for it for three years now.

The problem is, Halo is dialog heavy to get it. There aren't iconic scenes like:

Death Star trench run
Prisoner Block escape
AT-AT battle
Dagobah training
Bespin duel
Endor battle
Jabba's palace
Cantina

You get the idea.

What they COULD do is a Lego Halo Multiplayer Only game that you could play online, for like $39.99. That would be freakin' huge. Make a bunch of maps with customizable Lego Spartans (you get a box of virtual blocks and put them together). Weapons, vehicles, transporters, and what's not perfect about a Forge level made with Legos? That's pretty much all it is now, anyway.
