This has been known for awhile. They will probably announce a price drop July 13th or 14th, as they are also the first days of E3.

well not really. I was only a rumor and then kmart jumped the gun and some thought it might only be a kmart thing. It was just revealed in the last 2 days that this would be universal.

Lol. I read about a price drop awhile ago. And I don't need a K-Mart ad to tell me if it's going to happen or not. If you have paid attention to the last couple generations of consoles, you could see it coming from a mile away.

well yes there were rumours that a price drop was coming for over a year and obviously they were going to drop it at some point anyway, the point was that it wasn't CONFIRMED.

So in your infinite wisdom tell me what MS has up it's sleeve next?

And btw that price drop is ONLY on the 20 gig models and once they are gone the sale is over. The new 60 gig unit will retail for 349$ so it's not really a true price drop.

Too bad. I'd love to have a 60gb model or my $50 back. A 20gb model with 35% of the hdd already filled up is a bit ridiculous.
