I'm too lazy to read reviews and too lazy to rent a game.. its been a while since i've been in the xbox loop.. i'm a former PS gamer..
What games have a good offline play and also has a good online play..
the best of both worlds..
I was looking towards Halo 3 since i had a limited edition copy but broke up with the girl before i got it [Theshadyone] hates me for that

I just like games that can entertain without have the lil kids screaming in my ear!
I've played GOW and beat it twice.. just need something new. . . .

Besides Halo, I would suggest Battlefield: Bad Company.

It has a good solid campaign, and fun multiplayer.

Top of my head:

Rock Band
Guitar Hero
Halo 3
Call of Duty 4
Burnout Paradise

well i'm sitting on Mass Effect right now..
i remembered how much i loved the game play when TheShAdyOne let me play it
So i do believe this will consume most of my time..
Even though i don't believe its xbx live..

My top three choices would be:
Call of Duty 4 (but there still are a bunch of little kids playing)
GRID (almost nobody ever has mics so you dont have to listen to them)
GTA IV (great game overall)

edit: lol, i just noticed these 3 games are my 3 last played games

No its not online but I just got back into that as well and I just beat it like two days ago. It is amazing, even though there is no online, it is still kool.

Honestly, I can't get off Rock Band...I freakin' love this game... Halo 3 is kick ass if you're looking for a shooter.

COD 4 is probably the best online FPS out now for consoles
The Orange Box - The Half Life series is the best FPS series ever made, and you get portal and team fortress 2, both amazing
GTA 4 - Great single player, it has multiplayer but nothing special.
Dead Rising - My first 360 game, amazing single player game, no multiplayer though sadly.
Bioshock - Pretty solid single player game, again no multiplayer
Chromehounds - Crappy single player, but multiplayer is fun once you get into it. (Think of the old Mechwarrior games on PC, only more customizable.)

I'd have to say
COD4
Rock band or GH3
Mass Effect
or wait for stuff like GOW2 and Fallout 3

That one was alright in my opinion I think COD4 is much better than that.

I actually really enjoy this game.
The multiplayer is fun, though a little repetitive.
The up-coming patch will fix some bugs, as well as being shipped with Clan support, and a new game type.

The Single player is a blast, and is somewhat challenging.

Every game has it's own issues, bugs, glitches and what have you.
You can't downplay a game, that has only been out for a little over a month.
It didn't ship perfectly, so what?
