Yeah I am looking forward to this one. I am not sure If I want to buy it or if I wil be able to get it from gamefly, but if the demo is good I think I will try to get it from gf rather than some of the other ones. So the demo is really going to be a deciding factor for me.

It just looks really good and somewhat innovative. The demo will hopefully just cement the deal for me.

I know. I just checked the 360 release dates and the only thing I see I have to have is Gears Of War 2.

Wow, so your not getting Saints Row 2, Fable 2, or Fallout 3? Those are all games I must have along with Gears of course.

This game looked interesting almost like a terrain changing GoW. Looking forward to it.

Am I the only one 'meh' about this? I'll give the demo a try but I'm really not holding my breath as it seems gimmicky.

I played this last month at X08 and I wan't really wow'd. The shifting earth stuff was kinda cool, but it gets old fast. The problem is it's not used in any really awesome ways, just to get up over or down under some obstacle.

No problem brother. I bought two hookers and I found a nice corner. I'll have the money in no time.

I played the demo. Changing the terrain is innovative but it's basically used like a ladder. The weapons are innovative but with Gears of War 2, Brother's in Arms, Silent Hill, Dead Space, Alan Wake (maybe it will come out), Spiderman Web of Shadows (I'm calling it now this one will be good), Fallout 3,James Bond Quantum of Solace, and Call of Duty 5 coming out, I have to pass on this one. Wifey is going to flip as it is.

The demo was impressive. I don't know if it's a must buy but I will give it a go.

I had fun with the demo, but its going to have to go on the back burner for a slow time.

The demo was much better than I anticipated, but sadly the game isn't gonna get my $60. I'm gonna have my hands full with Fable 2, Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead, Dead Space, and Mirror's Edge. Unless one of those games turns out to be total ****, which I doubt, I should be good on games until 2010. :yikes:

Yeah, with that lineup you should be good until Xbox 720 easy.

this game is alright and the manipulating the ground thing is innovative...not my thing...

I know, right.

And I totally forgot about The Last Remnant. I'm loving the RPG cavalcade on the 360, a genre sadly lacking on the OG Xbox.

Fracture review is up and on the front page (as of 10/6).

Regardless what you think of the game, please give me some feedback on the review - ESPECIALLY once the game is out and if you get a chance to play something besides just the demo.

IGN raped the game. I may have to wait on this one.

IGN probably didnt even take the game out of the packaging, which tends to be the case with a lot of their reviews. I honestly question whether they actually play games before writing reviews. And seriously, I am not kidding.

I say that too because they gave Madden a great score and Madden has the same flaws as last year. I think there are some kickbacks going on over there but a 5.9 for Fracture? That's scary.

Like with Silent Hill the weapons are too accurate and the sound is too good. One no name site gave Fracture 20/100. Yeah right.

Wifey is at work tomorrow so I'm sneaking the game home. I loved the Demo. Using the TD is fun and it gives you cover and get's you into new areas. The weapons are superb too. Graphics are really good too. Once I get through about 9 hours of work, I'm not going to stop playing with my thumbstick (laughs will have a field day with that one).

Lets just say I overheard a guy speaking at an event earlier this year and he already knew what he was going to score the game and said he wasnt even going to play it. That came straight from an IGN review guy. Thats more scary than a 5 score.

I agree, I think there may be some kickback of sorts.
