Thought I would start a thread up, there was quite a bit of stuff announced at TGS. Check the news out:

TGS: Tekken 6 Announced for Xbox 360 (http://www.xboxaddict.com/forums/../news/9198.html)

TGS: Ninety-Nine Nights 2 Announced (http://www.xboxaddict.com/forums/../news/9199.html)

TGS: Microsoft Announces Halo 3 Recon (http://www.xboxaddict.com/forums/../news/9200.html)

TGS: New Xbox Experience Dated (http://www.xboxaddict.com/forums/../news/9201.html)

I would also recommend checking out Joystiq, they have a great summary of the Microsoft Press Conference: http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/08/joystiq-live-from-microsofts-tgs-2008-press-conference/

can't wait for more updates from TGS!! I have a few issues though w/ the new xbox experience. Apparently if you have an XBL Gold membership and a Netflix Unlimited Membership, then streaming the movies will be free. I have issues though w/ buffering. I seriously doubt that MS will be able to take the connections of 8 different people and stream a movie w/ no lag or buffering. If they can, then I tip my hat to them on that amazing accomplishment. The second gripe I have is that I have family that lives in the UK and according to this new xbox experience, you CAN watch movies w/ other ppl on XBL, but ONLY IN THE US (which doesn't make sense since we can play games, chat, etc.. already). To me that just totally ruined it for me, and if ms can't fix that problem then I don't see any reason for me to get a Netflix Unlimited Membership.

I was just researching the Netflix streaming movies on the xbox and apparently users will have to use their pc's to generate a queue of movies that then will appear on your 360 to watch. Netflix offers Blu-Ray movies, however, no word on any streaming HD content from Netflix (or at least none that I could find). Apparently (just after the research I've done, I could be wrong) users will be able to stream SD movies, instead of HD. Hmmmmmm.... if this turns out to be true, and the ability to watch movies w/ someone across the pond isn't happening, then I'm seriously considering cancelling my gold subscription. I refuse to pay money for a service that MS may once again "half-a$$". So now if that is true, are we going to have to wait for ANOTHER UPDATE just to stream HD movies?? I have a HDTV to watch movies in HD not in SD. Granted SD may still be popular, but MS needs to give something to those who have HD abilities.
