well i just got the RROD for the 5th time and now i am officially pissed cause 1 i got the RROD 5 times and 2 it happend on my birthday not even the fact that i get to miss school tomorrow to go to blizcon can cheer me up cause i was really looking forward to playing xbox when i got home from school today to find out i got the DAMN RROD!

Damn, that sucks. 5 times, damn. I have a couple of questions for you.
1. Do/have you ever used an intercooler with it?
2. Do you move your console around alot? i.e. take it to your friends, neighbors, stuff like that.
Just curious.

nope dont use the intercooler that gave me my second RROD and ive only taken this one to my friends house once but im calling microsoft right now and they dont send us boxs anymore which means i actually have to pay for a box to send it to them those cheap bastards

Just take it to a UPS store and they can pack it up for you since you'll have the labels. It might cost you $2 or $3 I would expect, at the most.

I've had a total of 8 RRoD's across 3 Xbox 360 units in my house. I havent had any issues lately (past 6-9 months) so I am hoping that I am finally in the clear.

Apparently 8 RRODs when converted to Canadian RRODs equals 100..
That would be the Microsoft Canada exchange rate.

Second RROD for me last week. Picked a MS box from my brother to package the Elite up and send it out tomorrow.

I'll eventually get it. That's why I bought a 3 year extended service contract from MS. It takes effect after the 1 year warranty is up. 4 years of coverage for $80 is not a bad deal.

I was under the impression that MS extended the 360 warrenties for 3 yrs out of the box.
