The New Xbox Experience is due to launch in a little over a month, and you're going to need a a hard drive and 128 megabytes of memory to be able to appreciate it. But if you happen to own an Xbox 360 sans hard drive, Microsoft may be able to help.

Microsoft has announced a memory upgrade program over at Xbox.com, allowing everybody who picked up one of the newly discounted Xbox Live Arcades to get in on the NXE. Eligible Xbox 360 Core owners can either get a free 512 MB memory card or a refurbished 20 gigabyte hard drive for $19.99, while Arcade owners are eligible for the refurbished 20 GB hard drive and three months of Xbox Live for $29.99.

And how do you know if you're eligible? Just go here and input your Xbox's serial number, and Microsoft will let you know whether your Xbox is ready to level up. Does that sound like you?

This is pretty cool of microsoft, allowing people who may not have enough memory for the new update, to get a free 512 MB memory card or a 20 gig hard drive for 20 bucks. This should be up on the front page.
