I was supposed to buy it from WSU months ago and didn't have the money. I contacted him about buying it and he said we'd talk about it and I saw just now that it's up on eBay. I've had this plate on my wishlist since the day I saw this plate.

This is my one major faceplate purchase for the whole year. It's taken until four days before Christmas to have a paycheck where I could do it.

I'm not above begging.

Well, whoever won it, no hard feelings. I don't have the cash to run with the big dogs on plates like that. I can only hope someone saw the auction and is digging theirs out of a closet to sell it. Guess I'll go take it off my wishlist...

Indeed i thought it'd go much higher than that.
The faceplate is not only ultra limited (one of a kind ?) but is also the work of an artist.
I'm more surprised about the price of the adidas faceplate which has been issued to bigger numbers.

Can you find out from WSU who bought the plates? Maybe he can suggest the guy becomes a member of this site so we can see their collection.

Not me...I only put in the initial bid before you asked us to let you have the plate but stopped bidding after that. If it's xboxgamer76, then he's using a new profile. Oowsoo would know for sure.

Well whoever muffin_monster is it looks like they just now started collecting - 15 positive feedback - 14 viewable and all from the same seller - ALL faceplates (fairly common ones too).

I mean maybe I'm wrong about the person just starting a collection now but it still seems weird that they would buy a sh*tload of common plates and then drop a ton of money on some really rare ones... especially while other really rare ones (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=180314222511) remain unnoticed. :rofl:
