There is someone on Ebay selling Rotten Eggs for $10. The auction is for 500 rotten eggs worth $1,000,000 in the game.

I would have bought some for myself, but I already completed the game way before launch and got my eggs and all the achievements.

The eggs aren't that hard to get at all, I managed to get all of them by my second playthrough. Also if you invite a friend into the co-op weapon screen you can give them all the eggs and they will get the achievement.
