According to OXM UK. several of the Project Natal motion controlled games shown at E3 were running on Epic's Unreal Engine 3. The Unreal Engine 3 is one of the more popular game engines used in the development of Xbox 360 games with titles such as Gears of War, Mass Effect, and Lost Odyssey making use of it. If the Unreal Engine 3 has built in support for Natal provided to licensees of the technology, we can all expect many, many games to make use of the motion sensing camera.

Mark Rein is quoted as saying, "The ricochet game and the paint party game are Unreal Engine 3, so we're obviously the first technology on the new platform which is kinda cool."
