Halo Chronicles, Wingnut Interactive's ambitious take on the videogame franchise, is still in discussion according to recent comments from Microsoft.
Announced in 2006, the game is believed to be an episodic take on the universe, although there have been few details on the project since it first came to light.
Unfortunately, that's unlikely to change anytime soon, as Microsoft Game Studio's Ryan Crosby told IGN, "We're still looking into it, and I don't think there's any news to share on it at the moment. It's one of those projects that you kind of start up and you never really nail all the details down."
When pressed whether the game is still being worked on, Crosby replied; "It's being discussed."
Halo Chronicles was one of two projects New Zealand director Peter Jackson embarked on with Halo developers Bungie, the second of which - the much anticipated Halo movie - is on indefinite hold.
