I want a gorillaz plate!

i have been after one of the gorillaz mural faceplates since day one, but they are just dam hard to find, or someone wants a rediclous sum for one. im sure the odds of finding one here are about ten times better than anywhere else. If anyone here has more than one in their collection or would be interested in selling one, or maybe you happen to know someone who does, i would love to hear from you!

I thought about doing the collect all 600 plates thing but I think it's not possible. What do you guys think?

I thought about doing advertising and stuff but I am sure people will jerk up the price and won't sell the last few ones to me unless I pay them each a million hence the plan is not viable I don't think.

The hard part is tracking the people down. For instance, I want one of the Zero Hour DOA airbrushed faceplates. Except for Tacohead, I've never even heard of anyone who owns one. It's like they took them home, put them in a drawer and forgot about them. There are 400 of them. You'd think ONE of them would have turned up by now.

It might be possible to secure 30 or 40 of those Gorillaz plates, but it might take you a couple years. There's also no guarantee all of them still exist. Things break, get tossed, destroyed by kids, etc.

Yes agreed. Probably a lot of the money who attended the party don't care as much for the faceplates anyways. I am sure there were some that were just destroyed or trashed.

ya there are a bunch of issues with trying to collect all 600. finding them all would be impossible, it would be very expensive, they were given out in europe so there are probably a ton there that will never see us soil, and like you said i wouldnt doubt people who got them at the release didnt know how big they would become and they lost them or gave them away. but hey, im not giving up on my goal to 600, i just don see it as a very likely goal though.
