Is there anyway I can plug in a ext-harddrive to the usb port or the hard drive slot with out modding my xbox360 to save games and DLC?.All the DLC now days my 120g will be full in no time..:watchout:

Nope it has to be a Microsoft only Hard drive, sorry man. :confused:

You can't save on an external HD. You can't even use the off brand memory cards anymore. They patched that a few weeks ago.
You can only use it to hold your music/movies/pics ect...

I highly recommend the use of one to hold and play your music over ripping songs on the Xbox HD. The system doesn't have to work as hard when it's coming from an outside source.

The 120GB won't fill up with DLC unless you are getting like every single RB2 song and map pack for all the games. It'll only start to fill up once you start installing games on the hard drive.

Worst case you can delete some DLC you don't use anymore and just redownload it later (you've already bought it so you can download it again at any time)

It really sucks how expensive the harddrives are for the 360 when memory has gotten so much cheaper... I guess that since it NEEDS to be the specific XBOX harddrive we're all stuck, but it still stinks!

A couple of year ago I bought a 160gb WD external HD for about $100 dollars. Now you can get the same one for maybe half that, if not cheaper.
I just picked up a new 320gb WD internal HD for $43 dollars, but a 60gb HD for the 360 is still $100 dollars.
