New Alan Wake Details & Trailer

Remedy Games released a new trailer for their upcoming psychological thriller Alan Wake last night at X10.

I also found details on the Collector's Edition. It will come with the game in a special art cover with bonus commentary and hints from Remedy. A 144 page book entitled "The Alan Wake Files" with a short story written by Wake and FBI files, the games soundtrack, a token for the first DLC, and a second disk with an Alan Wake theme and avatar items. All that will be wrapped in special linen wrapped box made to look like a book. All for $79.99

I guess it's just as well to pay the extra $20 and get the special edition... Wonder what the soundtrack is like... Probably ****, but whatever.

I've been waiting for this game for 16 years now. Looks awesome. Hopefully it doesn't blow chunks of suck!

I don't even know what this game is really lol, first I thought right when I heard the name "Woooh another boat kill destruction game" fondly remembering "Blood Wake" from the original xbox. But after the video it looks like another Silent hill game, but not any of the new ones, the PS1 one (the silent hill where the guy and his daughter go to the town he crashes the daughter is gone he wakes up in a diner with some cop that one). I probably won't get this game, most likely for the game's forte, which seems to be, you're alone, in the dark, with a friggen flashlight as your weapon. RE5 was spooky enough for me.
