But I mean, how did it happen? Did the artist do the writing, the barenakedladies put it on a faceplate over a background image, and this guy put it over a different background image with colors inverted?

It just seems really odd. Not convinced there's anything "wrong" per se going on here. I just can't wrap my brain around what exactly has happened.

If you compare the plates, the writing is completely different, so I'm assuming he just wrote it on a plate he painted.
