What do you guys think of the name? Xbox One?

I'm not sure how I like "Xbox One".

On one hand, to me the original Xbox is Xbox One.
On the other, I see the need to reboot and leave the old behind.

My wife thought it was stupid, said.."That's not Xbox One!"

What can you do? Your thoughts?

Hate it. Lol sorry but to call something that's 3rd in your product line "one" doesn't make much sense to me. I think it's bc ms was looking for something lotr"ish" w one ring to rule them all. One product to take on tv, Internet, gaming and more. At least that's what I'd like to believe to keep me from thinking ms can't count.

I see your point, however I think they called it that because presumably you will use "one" piece of hardware for all of your media.

I was very inpressed with the console but the name is sort of a let down. I was hoping for xbox 720 or maybe xbox infinity. But you got to remember the point of it is the actual console not the name.

I would of accepted the black box of pink fluffy flowers.. its an XBOX. We play games on it, not talk about its name.

Hello guys..I read all the post but in my point of view the name of this game is not too much attractive because its have no sense of the name of the game.I would suggest the name that Xbox 007 is the best name and also attractive for the new gamer.

When I first heard the name I was like Huh? But when they explained the reason behind the name I was like Okay it is better then anything that I would have came up with.

When i see the point, on the other hand I do think these people termed the item in which because most probably you might employ "one" bit of electronics intended for your marketing.
