xbox playing dvd-r's

Does anoyone know if Xbox will play dvd-r's?

i've played both +r and -r in my xbox, and both have worked

Mine skip pretty bad, its the drives fault though.

Myn plays DVD+RW.

yeah my buddy burns me DVDs an they work fine

All Xbox's can read DVD-R, anything else it just comes down to the drive you have. Shown bellow.

Samsung are known for taking pritty much anything thrown at them, Phillips are alright and Thompson's are pritty challenged to read anything other than DVD-R.

My Thompson reads cheap DVD+R media perfectly.

My thompson used to read cd-rw when adding tracks to my HD, but after I downloaded some updates and my drive lens start failing i just can play like 5 games from 17 i have and no more cdr`s or dvdr`s for me.

Can read CD-RW, DVD-R/+R, DVD-/+RW.
