Can't hardly give 'em away - not that I would.

I'm just about to give up listing plates on eBay. I've listed some really fabulous plates lately and nothing's getting bids. The only plates that have sold at all in the $50 range are E305 Rings of Lights plates. I only have two of those to sell so they'll probably be next.

Plates I've listed:

Prey
War of the Worlds
US launch team "I Made This" in the package!
Ninety Nine Nights Korean exclusive
Chromehounds in the BOX with the Japanese GAME!
Football Manager in the box

On the one hand it should be great for collectors that stuff is going so cheap. On the other hand, people who know the stuff is worth more than the current going price aren't parting with their plates. If you need a Final Fantasy XIII plate though....

Dam man, sorry to hear that. Maybe instead of ebay, try individual private sales?

Faceplate market is dead, i just lost a need for speed prostreet for less than $40. Gears of War plates that used to pull an easy 30+ don't even hit $10.

while it was fantastic at first, after ms pulled the plug on the support, it all started downhill. tis a shame b/c there was potential there.

Finally got a $99 bid on the sealed "I Made This" plate. It's a shame to let that go for less than $150. Also, someone asked me to relist the Chromehounds plate with game and i did, but no response. Figures. I think it's eBots getting people to relist so they can make more money off of them.

I've been looking around and it seems to be all collectibles in general. I picked up a huge lot of Marvin the Martian stuff, and the MM stuff on eBay isn't doing what it used to. I was going to sell my plush Conker and give the money to Extra Life, but they're practically giving those away too. There was a time having one made you a god. Now it just makes you a plush squirrel owner.

What's so bad about that? I'm an owner too! :)

Don't hate me but I just bought a FFXIII faceplate off ebay for 6$.

Except he decided to refund me instead of actually shipping.
