Thanks for the interest and comments! I had thought that the custom faceplate craze was over about a year ago, so I quite painting them... It wasn't until I had a break from mural painting that I thought I would try it again. I have about 50 faceplates to paint on, so I will have a few to choose from.
I will post the Assassin's Creed plate here before it makes it to ebay. I have a habit of trying to paint insanely difficult things, and this is proving to be no different.

That is a really common plate so don't think from the description that it's rare. They had to mark them down to $10 for the two pack of red and blue plates,just to get rid of them.
There was a Jedi Luke Skywalker that you got for attending the theatrical release of the Special Edition ot Return of the Jedi. It was the only way to get that figure. That is not the case with this plate. It's just 1/2 of a retail plate pack.
That $500 comes with a $349 Xbox console though. It's not just for the faceplate. And I've never seen that faceplate.
