Thread: SpaceGhost2K's Custom Collection

    Default SpaceGhost2K's Custom Collection

Taking a cue from hellonearth159's thread, here are pics of my custom printed plates.

Someone requested the top four plates. He didn't choose the bottom one because his console was horizontal, but it was my favorite of the four versions so I made one for myself.

The girl in the top two pics is Lisa Gleave, one of the Tecmo girls (re: booth babe) and also #3 on "Deal or No Deal." I made these in hopes of having her sign them at E309 but she didn't attend this year.

The Cheech & Chong plates are being auctioned off with the proceeds going to the Child's Play charity.
The Ghostbusters plate was made to pitch to Atari, but they didn't attend E309.
The Video Games Live plate was made in hopes of getting the VGL guys to carry them at their merch booth at the concerts.

One TOOL plate was made early on and had a matte finish. The other one just arrives and came with a glossy finish.
The Dagobah plate on the bottom will be the base for a Spirit of Yoda plate.
The Star Wars Death Star II plate was given to LucasArts at E309.

    OhsayOne's Xbox - Jul 9 2009

When someone makes a mistake there is typically some kind of gift involved... Maybe I can get a new faceplate out of the missed day of gaming yesterday... It is totally like OhsayOne to do something like that.
Aww my Xbox knows me so well.

I haven't had any money to make any plates. E3 and Anime Expo killed me, and I've got PAX breathing down my neck.

    Space:
If I go to make a plate on FA, is there a choice of glossy or matte?

They used to be all matte, now they're all glossy. Sadly, it's not an "option."

There's a LOT of things I wish I could do. Glossy or matte. Black base plate or white base plate (or clear, if they could stock them). Rumor has it we may get heat sensitive ink that will change colors.
