Major Nelson Xbox Live Account Hacked
Larry Hryb, Director of Programming for Xbox Live, has had his account broken into by hackers who later posted a video of their efforts.
The hackers left abusive messages on Hrybs Major Nelson account and offered to break into anyone elses account for $60, going as far as offering a Skype name and website for contact. Those responsible then posted a YouTube video of the whole event.
"I have control of the account," Hryb later told Kotaku. "The enforcement team took care of it."
Director of Policy and Enforcement for Xbox Live, Stephen Toulouse, wrote on his Twitter: "Thanks for the heads up folks. We have gotten Majors account back. Well investigate what happened," adding: "Looks like this was very specific and very targeted to Major. Ill look into the details and report back later. But for now everythings back to normal."
