X-Link Xbox remote controls over 1,000 devices
The $29.99 X-Link may cost a lot more than the original Xbox 360 remote control, but this universal clicker is ahead of the curve in terms of function.
Besides sporting specialized Xbox controls and full compatibility with all Xbox 360 models, the X-Link can also double as a universal remote supporting more than 1,000 brands and models of home A/V products. These include TVs, set-top boxes, home theater systems, and digital video recorders. A learning capability also covers devices not listed in its preprogrammed codes.
This universal remote is powered by two standard AA-sized batteries and features a non-volatile memory to retain the settings when its time to replace the cells. The X-Link can be purchased directly from manufacturer SMK-Link Electronics online store.
