Microsoft Officially Introduces Black Tusk Studios
Today, Microsoft Studios officially introduces its newest first-party developer, Black Tusk Studios, based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Led by Studio Manager Mike Crump and a team of industry veterans, Black Tusks passion lies in creating AAA experiences that are emotionally engaging, push the limits of Microsofts connected entertainment platforms, and blur the lines between games and film.
"We are very excited to be creating new IP. Black Tusks mission is to build Microsofts next blockbuster franchise," enthuses Mike Crump. "And to be able to do so at a company with the mandate and resources to think and act big, and to deliver innovative hit experiences at scale is a dream."
Headquartered in the Yaletown district in downtown Vancouver, Black Tusk Studios joins Microsoft Studios vibrant roster of first-party developers. Steadily growing during the past year, Black Tusk has been attracting some of the industrys best and brightest and continues to grow and add talent to its team.
