Gears Fans in Canada Get a Pretty Neat Promotional Opportunity
On September 24, Microsoft Canada is launching #GearsSquadGoals, a chance for Gears fans to band together and showcase their passion for the franchise in hopes of unlocking the ultimate crew trip.
As squads complete challenges ranging from following @XboxCanada to donating blood in preparation for the coming battle, they will receive contest entries, giving them the chance to see Run The Jewels perform in Austin, Texas or get the VIP treatment at a Gears of War eSports event in London, England. The program runs until October 10th so time is of the essence.
That’s not the only way for Canadians to never fight alone. Lucky gamers in Toronto will also have a chance to get their hands on exclusive Gears of War 4 swag from September 30 to October 2. Grab a comrade and join the hunt as you search for COG soldiers within the city. Find them, work together and you’ll be rewarded.
