Eidos takes a major blow
Eidos announced that they have taken a major loss over the past six months ending September of this year. The company lost a total of over £82 million. To quote Computer and Video GamesThe situation at the company seems desperate. "The only thing that will save them now is buying someone or being bought themselves," said one city source. "Theyre a slow moving target. £82.3 million as a loss is a very big one."
The makers of the oh so popular Tomb Raider is having a tough time right now, and I believe a lot of fans are hoping theyll pull through. With rumors that the final Tomb Raider will be released, many fans are hoping that the company will still be around to make it. Tomb Raider the movie will also be released, and may prove to help them out in the money department, but as of now Eidos isnt very happy.
