Preliminary List Of TGS Exhibitors Released
Anticipating a more exciting show than in recent years, Japans Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association today announced its first tentative list of exhibitors for the Tokyo Game Show. The annual gathering of the Japanese games industry, set to take place September 24-26 at the Makuhari Messe convention center, will hopefully draw more interest than the lackluster 2003 show, with new games for both Sony and Nintendos upcoming handhelds on display. The total number of exhibitors at present is 114, with the following names signing on as the most prominent companies: Acquire Atlus Bandai Capcom Electronic Arts Genki Gung Ho Hudson Irem Koei Konami Microsoft Namco NCsoft Sammy Sega SNK Playmore Square Enix Tecmo Tomy Conspicuous by its absence from the list is Sony Computer Entertainment, which will certainly have a presence at the show -- its promised to display its first PSP game titles at TGS -- but hasnt officially signed on as an exhibitor yet. Nintendo, following its usual practice, will probably not exhibit at the show, although it hasnt announced any plans for its own exhibition this summer either.Source: http://www.1up.com
