Osborne spills the beansWe received an email from Laura stating that GameSpot UK recently spoke with David Osborne, design manager at VR1 Entertainment, and found out the 411 on his latest Xbox title Nightcaster. Here is a clip of the interview:
GameSpot UK: How did the idea for Nightcaster first come about?
David Osborne: The original thought for a game along this theme came from our then creative director Brian Ullrich. He tasked me and a small dev team to create an adventure/action game with magic as its focus, which is when we introduced the unique play control and fleshed out the building blocks for a game of this magnitude. We wanted to harness the power of the future-gen consoles using light and colour in ways never before possible, but keeping true to its core as a fast paced combat game.
